We are
Job Description -Java Developer with Telecom /OSS Domain
The software developer will be part of the OSS Amdocs Resource Manager team and will work on development and release of ARM product.
Responsibilities
* Understand and master Amdocs OSS products and framework.
* Work in Agile development as a Scrum Team member.
* Create new product features by using design patterns and clean code principles.
* Use Continuous Integration for faster development.
* Able to work extensively in a challenging environment with tight timelines.
* Able to find innovative solutions to deliver to time
* Keep focus on customer requirements and deliver results.
Skills
* Excellent knowledge and hands on experience of Java/ J2EE , SQL, PL/SQL and basic Unix knowledge
* Good knowledge of design patterns, data structure and ability to design and implement algorithms.
* Excellent debugging and analytical skills
* Lead a task, development and Unit testing.
* Work closely with internal and external teams.
* Team player and good communication skills
* Cramer / Amdocs Resource Manager development experience (Optional)
Skills for Internal Candidates
* Development experience with ARM and understanding of ARM data model and interfaces.
* Development experience in Amdocs Foundations products especially in XPI and XPS.
Experience
* Around 2 - 3 years of experience in software development with Java / J2EE.
* B.E. in Computer Engineering, B.Sc / M.Sc in Computer Science or equivalent
* Knowledge of working in Agile software development methodologies (advantage)
